Charlotte and Weston value their connections in Austin’s social and business communities. Their long history of local philanthropic involvement has included The Junior League, Women’s Symphony League, Ballet Austin, Heritage Society of Austin, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, Women’s Art Guild, Umlauf Sculpture Gardens, Eanes Education Foundation, and many more. Committed to protecting Austin’s history, Charlotte was chosen to consult with the General Land Office and the State on the sale of the Pease Mansion and the Texas State Preservation Board on the restoration of the General Land Office building at the State Capitol.
